The company
In 1968 Mr. Diana Sergio began
to build the first silver recovery machines at industrial level.
After that, at the end of the Seventies, he created the Led Italia
Company, in Pordenone.
During the time, the plants initially built were improved for making
better the recovery of the silver contained in the fixer bath,
bleach-fix, x-ray liquids, film liquids and graphic arts. In those
years, were also planned the first equipment for recovering the silver
contained in the x-ray film.
After the antipollution laws came into force, the plants for the
treatment and the recycle of waste-waters were created, followed by the
concentrators and vacuum evaporators.
The vacuum concentrators found application to different sectors, in
particular to the galvanic, goldsmith and waste collecting companies.
In the cosmetic, chemical and pharmaceutical field these machines are
used for purifing the processing and washing waters (for example waters
used for washing emulsifiers and mixers), whereas in the herbal sector
they are used for parting the extract from the solvent used for the
extraction.
Just in this last sector, at the end of the Nineties, a new
extraction’s system for the vegetable extracts production was
planned and patented by using a new extraction technology (rapid
solid-liquid extractors, Globus Extractors series, called Naviglio Estrattore).
These machines aroused a great success by many italian and foreign
extraction’s and research companies.
At least, a series of plants was created to complete the range intended
both to the medicinal herbs treatment and to the cosmetics production.
